The European Co-Packers Association (ECPA) and its member companies represent the professional Contract Packing Industry in Europe.
Co-packing is a comprehensive term that covers multiple activities and each co-packer has its own areas of expertise. Besides the packaging and repackaging of food and non-food products, ECPA co-packers are also available for the outsourcing of part of the production process (co-making).
The activities of the member companies are very diverse and focus on all kinds of products, packaging, packaging materials and packaging techniques. The joint expertise of the members equates both quality, flexibility and speed.
ECPA supports its members with:
- Professional and qualitative positioning of the companies; member companies operate
form the "ECPA Code of Conduct"
- Active promotion and encouragement of outsourcing to co-packers of packaging and
manufacturing processes
- Further growth and professionalization of the market for co-packing
- Service; both collectively and individually
The ECPA was founded in the spring of 2009 and develops at a high pace. Now the most of the founding and administrative affairs are completed, the focus now is mainly on further growth throughout Europe of associated co-packing companies.
Furthermore, ECPA will continue to focus on the acquisition of new co-packing members in Europe.
