The European Co-Packers Association (ECPA) and its member companies represent the professional Contract Packing Industry in Mainland Europe, providing a valued resource for brand owners, manufacturers and retailers looking to outsource. ECPA was formed in 2009 and currently has members with co packing facilities in Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Switzerland.
Co-Packing is a broad term that covers many different applications and each contract packer and contract manufacturer has their own areas of expertise. Whether you require co-packing of food or non-food products in the personal care sector, healthcare or pharmaceutical, household, automotive or chemical sectors, ECPA can help you find a supply chain solution. Co-packing can apply to large automated production lines or smaller one-off specialist hand packing projects, or the breakdown of units into different retail formats. Some co-packing companies also cover assistance with new projects and product sourcing.
ECPA members also have facilities to handle contract filling of liquids into PET bottles, and the milling, grinding and sieving of bulk powders. More specialized projects might require higher expertise in the form of water soluble technology, or pharmaceutical projects requiring high accreditation and quality systems.
